Science Experment

Today in maths we learnt physics. We set a tea bag on fire and it somehow flew into the air.
We managed to figure out how it worked. As we set the top on fire it slowly burned to the bottom.
Before the fire it went out, it blasted into the air. The reason for this was because the heat from the fire
caused the air from inside the tea bag to heat up.So the tea bag flew up because heat rises. The air inside the tea bag was hotter then the air outside the tea bag.

The cold air is also more dense. This means that the particles are closer together and and they have less energy then hot air and that is why it made the tea bag fly.

DMIC FLIGHT WORKOUT

I know New Zealand is 1 day and 1 hour in front of London and we left on Tuesday.

i also know it takes 8 hours to get to Hong Kong from Auckland and they stooped for 2 hours so that the day is Wednesday

i also know that is takes 5 hours and 55 minuets to get to London from Hong Kong and then the time is 4:55

so 5 hours + 8 hours = 13 hour + 55 so it is 13 hours and 55 minuets

so you arrived in London at 6 pm Auckland time
and arrived on Tuesday at 5 pm London time because London is 13 hours behind Auckland time

and that is how i worked my dmic question

Pt England Poem

Bright sunny day sweating from the sun
Big open field where we are free to run
Seeing people running all very fast
Playing around and having a blast
The bell rings and were tired from the heat
Waiting at the taps to wash our feet

Kua tae te wā - it’s time

Did you know all primary school teachers from around NZ are going on strike this wednesday??
For the first time in 24 years teachers are going on strike for what they think is right. If you are
interested and want to hear more about teachers and why they are going on strike then keep
reading to find out.

One of the reasons why teachers are going on strike is they want to spend more time with us
kids. If they are to busy focusing on their assessments then how can they help us with our
learning ?? I know a solution.I good idea to prevent this is by giving teachers less work or
hiring more teachers.I bet this would help teachers out alot.

Another reason why all teachers are going to strike is to change the lack of additional needs.
Most of the time, kids with additional needs (special needs) don’t get that special extra support
because there aren’t enough teachers to help out.So as I mentioned earlier, a great idea would
be to hire more teacher/teacher aids.

Do you think teachers get paid enough??Well I sure don’t.I heard from my teacher saying
she sometimes works during night, weekend and early in the morning.Guess what, they don’t
get paid for working after school hours. They only do extra work just so they can keep up with
the system. This is why we should give them less work and abit of extra money for all their
hard work.

Overall I understand why teachers are doing this. They aren’t just doing this for the money,
they are doing this because they care about all New Zealand students. In my opinion, I am 100%
on the teacher side.

Holiday plans

Have you ever made plans for your school holidays??If you haven’t you're in luck because I will be writing tips and tricks on how to make the most of your school holidays!!

If you come from a family with siblings and you are the oldest, you will know you have a extra special job of taking care of them plus your own usual chores. If you were to ask me I would get your chores out of the way before watching your siblings so you can just relax after that.Remember to distract them or put them on hold till your done. That's just my opinion but it works best for me.If you haven’t got any siblings, than lucky you.

Now that your chores are done and dusted I would suggest you start making some activity plans. As I mentioned earlier, if you have siblings you should kindly ask your caregivers if you could have some personal time with some of your friends.Make sure you cook ertra breakfast to make it through lunch until dinner(So you have more time to play). Now for some plans...

If haven’t made plans then don’t worry I have some really good ideas to share with you.Start by asking your neighbors if they have anything to do.If they are free then arrange some backyard frontyard games such as cricket, touch, tea ball and much more fun games.Another fun way to keep yourself busy is to organize a sleepover.Politely ask your parents to get in contact with your friends parents to verify its ok stay stay.

Can you guess my last idea? This idea is mostly used world wide.
I would assume you have played on some sort of device or electronic.I’ve heard of this game called Fortnite which is mostly played on a PC, PS4, and a Xbox 1.If you didn’t know, I have a cousin who plays this Fortnite game. His gaming name is Ninja and he is rated number one in the world.Anyway, you can have fun by playing games on devices. You are very, very lucky if you are only child. Take it from me, I have one younger brother and one older brother so I know how it feels having to share the console.A fun way to do this is to do on and off’s. It's all about trust .When you are on the game, whoever you are sharing it with is watching a movie then when you die, you get the next person and wait till your turn comes around.

So there you have it. Some helpful tips and tricks to keep you busy throughout the holidays.Remember, jobs before getting told off.I hope this will help you have a great holiday!!!!!!!

Move ya body!!!

The sound of loud voices hovered over the hall.Slowly the music started playing louder and
louder and the crowd noises faded away. Mr Vogt and Mr. Jacobson were on the stage. It looked
like they were trying to stretch. Suddenly and blond headed man came out of nowhere wearing
denim shorts and a bright green socks. It turned out to be our principal  Mr. burt dancing and
having a good time!!

First up we had Team 1(Year 1 and 2) teachers to share their video they had made.
They showed us the differences between the gaming, stay up all night type of person and
the healthy type of person. I learned to have a breather and done some chores before playing
fortnite.

I liked all the rest of the other Teams item but the one that stood out to me was (my
personal favourite) was Team 3.They explained how to eat healthy food and how to stay fit
and active.I like how they converted songs to life like situations.

Overall the teachers did an amazing job with what they had produced and provided for
everyone to learn and look forward to in term 3!!!! Special thanks to Mr. Burt for showing us
your beyonce move and how to start the term with a BANG!!

It was term 2, week 4 on a wednesday’s morning.Camp was right around the corner.

in the morning. It was still shivering cold.RING RING RING RING, that was the bell.
Slowly everyone meet in the hall for the final camp meeting. As time went on,the buses

we packed all our luggage and climbed aboard.

We were 2 hours in to the trip just outside Thames.”Welcome to Thames” the sign said.
I knew we were close. The view looked amazing.I could see the green mountains and the
 other wonderful things.

We had arrived at the Kauaeranga christian camp.I was happy to smell the fresh countryside air.
I got off the bus then yawned and stretched.”Please take any bag.Don’t waste your time finding your
